    I actually think he lied again by saying this was a Nationalist driven case, but then again lying comes naturally to him and would appear to be sanctioned by the judiciary as acceptable( the norm?) for this particular Rt Honourable !

    As you say the Standards Committee of The House of Commons are also investigating the Alistair’s conduct.

    I am sure they will take a keen interest in the evidence he gave (under oath) about what he did and said, and in the Court’s response

    Beyond his mendacity and the contempt with which he treated the first parliamentary inqiry as a witness, there is also the small matter of the COST of that inquiry.

    I think taxpayers can rightly demand an account of the legal position on wasting that money when he knew all along he was responsible for the leak.
